Wormectin Injection

WORMECTIN injection is a preparation containing 22,23-dihydroavermectin B1a and 22,23dihydroavermectin B1b effective against nematode and ectoparasite (i.e., fleas, louse, and mite). WORMECTIN injection works by inhibiting neurotransmitter and blocking the post-synaptic stimulation of the adjacent neuron or the muscle fiber, causing paralysis of the parasites and eventually death. WORMECTIN injection is administered by subcutaneous injection (under the skin) which will work for 2 weeks after injection. WORMECTIN injection is safe to used since it does not affect the central nervous system of mammals.

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains:

• 22,23-dihydroavermectin B1a and 22,23-dihydroavermectin B1b
• Excipients 

INDICATION

Cow, swine, sheep, dog, cat:

• To treat disease caused by external parasites (i.e., fleas, louse, mites, and insects' larvae)
• To treat worm infestation

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Inject subcutaneously (under the skin)

• Cow: 1 ml per 50 kg of body weight
• Swine: 1 ml per 33 kg of body weight
• Sheep: 0.5 ml per 25 kg of body weight
• Dog, cat: 0.02 ml per kg of body weight

Give WORMECTIN injection once. It may be re-administered 2 weeks later or as necessary.
